Galena cottage is located in the Derbyshire village of Wardlow less than 3 miles from Tideswell and 10 miles from Chatsworth House. It is a spacious detached cottage with excellent views and extensive gardens. Our cottage is perfectly placed for families or groups to enjoy the very best that the Peak District National Park has to offer.

Our cottage has been sympathetically modernised with a combination of contemporary furniture and soft furnishings. Many of the original period features, such as beamed ceilings and quarry tile floors, have been preserved.

Galena is well equipped with fully controllable central heating, Wi-Fi and Freesat TV.  With an open fire in the snug and a wood burner in the living room the cottage is worth a visit at any time of the year.

There are three bedrooms, two of which have en-suite showers can be offered as super king-size doubles or twin beds, making the cottage very adaptable to the particular needs of your family or group.

There are fantastic walks, rides, and tourist attractions all within easy reach, our cottage can offer a superb holiday.

There is off-road car parking for 3 cars behind the double gates to the side of Galena.  There is secure storage space within the garage for storing your bikes and other outdoor equipment.

Children and pets are very welcome and we can provide items such as high chairs and dog bowls.  We also provide a visitors and “doggy” welcome pack.

All of your electricity and gas are included in the cost and we provide 1 bag of kindling and 1 bag of logs in the weekly rental.
