Your Stay

Outside/garden

There is off-road car parking for 3 cars behind the double gates to the side of Galena.  There is storage space within the garage for storing your outdoor equipment (bikes etc.).

The garden is enclosed with dry stone walls and 4 ft deer/sheep fencing, however please be vigilant when your dogs are in the garden as the surrounding fields will have horses and livestock in them.  There is a small gap at the bottom of the fence to allow the gardener to mow up to the wall.

Please be careful on the steps near the kitchen, as these are stone and can sometimes be a little slippery when wet/covered in snow or ice.  They are also steep and narrow.

Babies, toddlers and young children

We welcome babies and toddlers and a travel cot, sheets and blankets, high chair, plates, toddler cups and cutlery are available upon request.

There is also a stair gate that can be placed where ever you need it.

Dogs

Dogs are allowed everywhere in the house, however please do not let them jump onto the sofas, chairs or beds.

Two dog beds are provided with snugly blankets.

We know how difficult it is sometimes to pop out for a meal and leave the dog in the car (especially on a hot day), so dogs are allow to stay (unattended) in the Utility for short periods of time (a couple of hours).

We also provide a welcome pack for the dogs; this can be found in the Utility.  This contains two spare leads, two collars and two dog tags, just in case your furry friend loses theirs.  There is also a couple of balls for their enjoyment and a packed of dog biscuits.

Three bowls are provided for your dogs.
